Think spring... planters.

23.4.15

Maybe it's just me, but I'm getting very very excited for spring. Despite the fact that this morning in late April, we had snow flakes falling!!! WHAT.THE.HECK?!?  Doesn't the universe realize by now that I am 100% over the cold weather?  It's time, Mother Nature... it's time to take a vaca and let this girl have her moment in the sun.

I have tunnel vision this time of year - all I can see is "outside pretty things". I focus on planters, making the grass green, power washing everything I can get my hands on, and singing songs loudly and badly OUTSIDE.  Because inside is not fun right now!  It's so much more fun to think about green things and pretty things and things like these awesome smaller planters I found online - all of which I covet deeply and may or may not have ordered 5 out of the 9.  The best part? They're all really affordable!  I am loving the influx of gold into the outdoor decor!

I know everyone always goes for the giant, perfectly styled large planters on the porch.  And they are awesome - I totally admit it.  But I am a huge fan of little planters.  I love the versatility of just being able to change it up without too much hassle (or cost), and I love love love how a little planter can instantly change a grouping of larger planters by adding that extra sparkle or unexpected texture.  Check out these gorgeous examples!

And this one is my favorite.  Bird cage?  gorgeous flowing flowers? PURPLE?  Yes, please.

Amazing, right? Makes you want to go out RIGHT NOW and get your hands all dirty?!?  Or maybe your spouse's hands all dirty? ;)

happy spring!!!
